While browsing through an overseas office systems offer catalogue an afternoon in 1994, Winston
Barrett realized the need for a business that would offer Jamaican entities similar products
and services. So he decided to venture into the business of redesigning and refurbishing office
interiors. This was the beginning of Corporate Interiors International. Destiny
had signaled the man whose very first job after leaving school was an office furniture salesman.
His first move was making contact with major producers of office furniture worldwide to source the
best quality items at the most competitive prices. Within a few months Corporate Interiors had
negotiated an exclusive dealership arrangement with one of the world's largest manufacturers of
modular work stations and office furniture, Santos International, based in Taiwan.
In addition, Corporate Interiors has established relationships with other leading
manufacturers of office furniture in the USA, such as Haworth & Holland Michigan, Hon &
Boss Office Products. As part of its philosophy to offer its clients a wide choice in furniture
selection, Corporate Interiors has also established an exclusive right to represent
JW-Esys Office Furniture, located in South Korea.
Currently, Corporate Interiors provides clients with a one-stop, turn key operation
which constructs and refurbishes office space; recommends the best quality products at the most competitive
prices; and delivers finished facilities with the most comfortable working environment, satisfying the
most discriminating corporate executive.
